For some reason, I always end up in the warmest regions of Europe at the warmest time. You can count on me to be in Malta in the middle of August, in Firenze at the height of July; I studied in the Canary Islands, where I once saw the beach thermometer hit 50°c (122°F), and somehow, I never suffered from the heat in those places as I do in Belgium. I don't typically write about Belgium, and it is a shame, to be honest. If I may say so myself, my (tiny) country has a lot to offer, and I'm not just talking about chips, chocolate, and beer (though they are ok, I guess). Take those random castles you've never heard of, for example.
Are you eating at Le Train Bleu for the first time? Don't know what to order? What to wear? Don't worry, Ms Unexpected's got your back.
You know how sometimes you find a place that gives you that particular feeling of contentment without really being able to pinpoint why? Deal is one of those places. With its tranquil quaintness and its one-of-a-kind beach, the small seaside town has it all, without ever being overwhelming.
